DESCRIPTION
The works that make up this publication are a result of experimental curiosity and an interest in fundamental knowledge about the Universe which most recently orbited around binary code, information, data, patterns, transformability of information, randomness, and correlations.
The works represent a variety of subjects but have some common denominators which, I hope, make them work as visually harmonious and interesting.
Drawing from both, natural and virtual environments, I captured forms and patterns that appealed to me through their esthetical qualities or intriguing, unique forms. Quite many of them are based on various visual representations of the binary code which attracted me with their striking geometric beauty. But it is primarily the essential role the binary code plays in the structure of the Universe that became a revelation to me in recent years and influenced the way I think and see things around me. Binary code has an essential role not only in the development of information technologies (virtual world) but, what’s much more exciting, the evolution of life in general.
DELIVERY
The book will be shipped wrapped in reusable foam and packed in a flat cardboard box which is classified as a ‘large letter’ by Royal Mail. The international shipping is via Royal Mail International Tracked service which costs £9.85 (I know…) The appropriate price will appear during checkout automatically based on the address entered.
RETURNS
Due to the environmental costs of shipping and also an additional hassle for me, I won’t be able to accept returns.
